I began lessons at the age of 10 years old with children’s teacher/author Donna LeBlanc. At 12 years old, I began taking classical lessons at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. Alongside my classical studies, I was also studying with a private jazz/improv teacher, Chip Reid. I continued my lessons throughout high school, and kept a strong focus on improv and composition. When I turned 18, I moved to Durango and attended The Fort as a classical piano major. I left after my first year to pursue my own ideals in music, and I now focus primarily on improvisation and production with Ableton Suit.
